"Common Pleas Court Records of Highland County, Ohio (1805-1850)" by
David and Jane McBride, page 197, gives the following information.
Abigail Hart vs. John Hart, et al. (filed July 7 1847.) Petion for
dower. Plaintiff alleges she is the widow of Miles Hart, deceased, who diied
seized of 175 acres and leaving the following heirs: John, William and
George Hart; Andrew, John, William, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ann and Eliza Jane
Bishir, children of Susannah, late Hart, intermarried with Christopher
Bishir; Jeremiah Thompson and Abigail, his wife, formerly Hart; Elizabeth
Chaney, formerly Hart; John Richardson and Nancy, his wife, formerly Hart;
Nathaniel W. Walton and Sylvester, his wife, formerly Hart; Andrew Madison
Hart; James Richardson and Mary D., his wife, formerly Hart; Jonathan Hodson
and Delilah, his wife, formerly Hart. The Court found John Hart, John and
Nancy Richardson, James and Mary D. Richardson, Nathaniel W. and Sylvester
Walton to be non-residents of Ohio. (Record 8, page 467.) (Compilor's note:
In a suit brought by James Richardson, et al, in ejectment, July Term, 1847,
it is alleged that Elizabeth, late Hart, is the wife of Thomas Radcliffe,
and that Christopher Bishir and Susannah, his wife, late Hart, are deceased.
